Michael Bonner, HBA, MPhil (Oxon), DPhil(Cand.)

Michael R.J. Bonner is an accomplished writer, researcher, translator and musician. He is editor of his University's Journal of Middle East Studies, has regularly contributed to Salterrae, the Trinity College newspaper.

As a musician, Michael was a founding member of The Crawling Kingsnakes, and has written two Masses, which were performed in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Tulsa Oklahoma, and St. Thomas's Anglican Church in Toronto.

He has proficient in Latin, Greek, Persian, French, German, and Syriac; he is also functional in modern Arabic.

Michael rowed competitively for Ridley College and the University of Toronto. Michael has traveled extensively, most recently throughout East Africa.
