Harness our experience preparing witnesses for the Federal Court, a $200 million mediation in front of a retired Supreme Court Justice, a USD $80 million dispute in front of the US Justice department, a major court case involving large urban infrastructure, and many other contentious issues.
Negotiation
You may not get to “Yes” but “Maybe” might just be possible with our system, polished in national grievance procedures, during Hong Kong’s return to China, with NAFTA negotiations, in mergers & acquisitions, and in large construction projects.
Leadership
Find out the principles and styles of leadership and how to deal with leaders. Find out why alignment between leaders and followers is so difficult. See how to align with the task at hand. We draw on our certification in Leadership Education from Harvard, and work with a dozen heads of government and several dozen CXOs.
Community Consultation
Fulfill your legal obligations under the Planning Act, Municipal Act, the Supreme Court rulings on duty to consult, and the codes of conduct for urban planners and engineers. We’ve locked horns, bashed heads, and also smoothed the way for consultations on new national legislation, Hong Kong’s return to China, urban amalgamation, school board amalgamation, and new nuclear programs.
Speaking
The old cliché is true—speaking is the #1 fear among North American adults. This must be overcome to achieve your objectives. Fumbling for words might work with direct reports—they have to listen. But in England, in financial circles, with investors and many others, anything other than excellence will not do.
Writing
One good lesson learned in a newsroom writing 18,000 words per week, is that no one can ever write anything that can’t be improved. We’ve written annual reports, speeches for contentious international meetings, remarks for the UN, and a speech per week for the CEO of a financial institution—every week for seven years.
