We’ve locked horns, bashed heads, and also smoothed the way for consultations on new national legislation, Hong Kong’s return to China, urban amalgamation, school board amalgamation, and new nuclear programs.

Speaking

The old cliché is true—speaking is the #1 fear among North American adults. This must be overcome to achieve your objectives. Fumbling for words might work with direct reports—they have to listen. But in England, in financial circles, with investors and many others, anything other than excellence will not do.

Writing

One good lesson learned in a newsroom writing 18,000 words per week, is that no one can ever write anything that can’t be improved. We’ve written annual reports, speeches for contentious international meetings, remarks for the UN, and a speech per week for the CEO of a financial institution—every week for seven years.
